This is a Chicago-styled flapper with fringing - designed  especially to compliment the present day figure 

• The dress features a round neck front and back and asymmetrical hemline - this design is very flattering for the mature figure
• There is fringing around the neckline front and around the hemline
• The fabric is crushed velvet which has a gentle stretch - no ironing.

Note: Crushed velvet I use is not a hot fabric to wear - it is commonly used for dancers.  The fabric does not have ugly creases, washes with no ironing required, and drapes beautifully womanly parts - very suitable for the mature figure.
